The gameplay is really nothing special, I was just testing how the box worked.. It's near the end of Tales Of Symphonia, on the GameCube. At least now if I want to review something I can do my own videos instead of shamelessly leeching from gaming sites ;)

Really just wondering what else works here for embedded video beyond YouTube.. So when I saw the option to get the code for this excellent No Punctuation review, I had to try.. plus Manhunt might be something I go for next, after I finish Tales Of Symphonia.. It's nice to go from cutesy RPG to gory action from time to time.... I got it for peanuts and it's been sitting on my shelf like so many others, and I might want to go thru it before I consider if I want to give the sequel a shot on the Wii when it finally comes out.

 

 

All the very retro-looking intro and 'cutscenes' from the PS2 launch title Fantavision.. I liked it, even managed to get to the end. Pretty and fun, no idea why it gets so easily bashed in comments.

 

Eye Of The Beholder 1, DOS version. Early 1990s. After countless hours of dungeon hacking, you get to the Bad Guy (tm) and kick his (its?) ass. You were then showed a couple of paragraphs of text. And that was it. What a freaking let down ! You still get to say you beat it, but it felt like it was missing something.

 

Well.. This page here (last entry at the bottom) says the ending was cut because of disk space issues.. D'oh ! But the Amiga version had a real ending.. Thanks to YouTube, this morning I finally saw the ending!

 

 

Err.. Um. Well.... Maybe it looked better back in the day? Maybe a handshake was enough 15 years ago and I just can't remember? Who am I kidding.. I really think now I would have preferred not knowing what the 'real' ending was supposed to be ! (Yeah I just can't stop complaining, I know :P)

Really not in the same vibe as the last entry, but really nice.. Gives a twist on having the credits "scroll"..! Here's the ending of Okami. Again from Clover...

No idea if I'll make it to the end of this one, it's that tough. But at least we can all enjoy the cheese at the end of the journey anyway. Gotta love the backvocals !
